Grade Four

Growing Curious, Confident Learners in Fourth Grade

Fourth grade is a year of exciting academic growth, discovery, and independence. Our thoughtfully designed curriculum challenges students to think deeply, ask meaningful questions, and develop a genuine love of learning. Through engaging instruction and hands-on experiences, students strengthen their skills in reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies while making connections across subject areas. Students become stronger readers and writers, develop confidence with increasingly complex mathematical concepts, explore scientific ideas through investigation, and discover how history, geography, and communities shape the world around them. Each learning experience is designed to spark curiosity and encourage students to become active participants in their education.

At the heart of our fourth-grade program is a commitment to developing the whole child. Students learn to collaborate, communicate, solve problems, and approach new challenges with perseverance and confidence. Opportunities in technology, the arts, physical education, and project-based learning allow students to discover their individual strengths and interests while developing important skills for the future. With caring teachers who know and support each child, fourth grade provides the perfect balance of challenge and encouragement, helping students become capable, compassionate, and confident learners who are excited for all that lies ahead.
